FAQ
Delivery, payment, returns, choosing equipment and made-to-order production. Can't find an answer? Call 01 724 82 58.
The website presents a wide range of our products, but not every product we can supply is necessarily listed. If you are looking for a specific product that you cannot find on the website, write to us at prodaja@utg-vodnik.si. We will check whether we can provide it and, if needed, prepare an offer for you.
Not necessarily. Some products listed on the website are not currently in stock in our warehouse, but can still be ordered. For each product, you can check its current availability for the selected colour and size.
Select the colour and size you want on the product page. Next to the price, you will see whether the product in the selected colour and size is in stock in our warehouse (for example "In stock" or "Last 1 piece").
If a product can be ordered despite being currently unavailable, you can also order it when it is not in stock in our warehouse. In that case the delivery time is usually longer. We will inform you of the expected delivery time by email if needed.
If the option to order is not available on the website, you can write to us at prodaja@utg-vodnik.si and we will check whether we can additionally order the product, size or colour you want.
For products that are currently out of stock, we do not always have an exact restocking date in advance. Some products are not kept in our warehouse but are supplied by the manufacturer or supplier to order. If you are interested in the availability of a specific product, size or colour, write to us at prodaja@utg-vodnik.si and we will check the expected delivery time.
Possibly. If you cannot find a particular product in our online shop, send us an enquiry at prodaja@utg-vodnik.si. Give us as much information as possible about the product you want, for example the manufacturer, product name, model, size or colour. We will check whether we can supply it and let you know the options.
When choosing a size, we recommend checking the size chart or the additional information given for each product, as sizes can differ between manufacturers.
If you are not sure which size is right for you, you can contact us before purchase. We will be happy to help you choose.
For workwear, numeric and letter sizes vary by manufacturer, so the conversion is not always the same. As a general guide, you can use the following table:
| Numeric size | Letter size |
| 44–46 | S |
| 48–50 | M |
| 52–54 | L |
| 56–58 | XL |
| 60–62 | XXL |
| 64–66 | 3XL |
Important: some brands use slightly different ranges, so when ordering it is always best to check the size chart of the specific manufacturer. For workwear, the size can also depend on the cut (e.g. classic, slim or comfort fit).
Yes, you can try products on in our showroom in Vir near Domžale, by prior arrangement.

When choosing protective clothing, the most important thing is to start from the hazards and risks you are exposed to in your work. Suitable protective clothing must protect against specific risks while allowing you to work safely and comfortably.
When choosing, consider in particular:
- the type of work and the working environment,
- the hazards you need protection from,
- the required protective standards,
- weather and temperature conditions,
- visibility,
- the material and functionality of the garment, and
- the required size and fit.
The relevant standards and other important features are listed for individual products on our website. If you are not sure which protective clothing is suitable for your work, write to us and we will help you choose.
Suitable safety footwear is chosen according to the type of work, the working environment and the risks the wearer must be protected from.
When choosing, pay particular attention to:
- the required level of protection,
- the safety toecap,
- puncture protection,
- slip-resistant properties,
- sole resistance to oil, fuel or other substances,
- waterproofness or water resistance,
- antistatic properties,
- heat or cold resistance, and
- comfort and suitability of the footwear for the time you spend wearing it.
Always check the standards and markings on the product too, as they determine which types of risk the footwear is designed for.
Not all safety shoes are suitable for all working environments. When choosing, you mainly need to consider the hazards present in your specific workplace.
For example, on a construction site, toe protection, puncture protection and a slip-resistant sole may be important. In industry, additional features such as antistatic properties and resistance to oil or other substances may matter. For outdoor work, protection against moisture, cold and other weather conditions is also important.
So when choosing, do not look only at the appearance or comfort of the shoe, but above all at the protective features and standards the product meets.
If you are not sure which footwear is suitable for your working environment, send us some information about the type of work and the risks you face, and we will help you choose.
Workwear is mainly intended to protect the wearer's own clothing and to provide comfort, functionality and recognisability at work. Depending on its purpose, it can also include additional features such as resistance to wear, weather or increased visibility.
Protective clothing, or personal protective equipment (PPE), is intended to protect the wearer against specific risks such as mechanical, chemical, thermal or other hazards. Protective clothing must meet the requirements of the relevant standards for its intended use.
Put simply: not every piece of workwear is protective clothing. What matters for protective clothing is its certified protective function.
Work footwear is mainly intended for comfort, functionality and foot protection at work, but is not necessarily designed to protect against specific mechanical or other risks.
Safety footwear is intended to protect the wearer against certain hazards in the workplace and must meet the requirements of the relevant standards.
Depending on the type of product, safety footwear may offer features such as a safety toecap, slip resistance, puncture protection, antistatic properties, resistance to fuels or oil, water, heat or cold.
When choosing, always check what protection a particular model provides and what working environment it is designed for.
Standards and markings on protective equipment define or describe the requirements, protective features and area of use of each product.
On protective clothing, footwear and other personal protective equipment you will often find EN or EN ISO standard markings, as well as additional symbols and markings that specify individual protective features.
For example, the markings can tell you whether the product provides protection against:
- mechanical risks,
- chemical substances,
- heat or cold,
- electrical risks,
- rain and other weather conditions,
- poor visibility or
- slipping.
It is important not to see a standard merely as a marking on a product – what matters is what the standard requires and which risk the product protects against.
When choosing, therefore, always check the product description, the technical documentation and the standards listed.
The right protective standard cannot be determined by occupation alone. The choice depends mainly on the specific risks and conditions in your workplace.
First, you need to establish:
- which hazards the worker is exposed to,
- how often and for how long they are exposed,
- how serious the consequences could be,
- what protection is needed for each risk, and
- which standard or requirements the chosen personal protective equipment must meet.
Example: for work where there is a risk of a heavy object falling on the foot, you need footwear with suitable toe protection. If there is also a risk of the sole being punctured, the footwear must also have suitable puncture protection.
If you are not sure which standard or protective feature is right for your work, describe your working environment and risks to us. We will help you find suitable products and information.
