POLYESTER PROVIDES STABILITY AND A THERMAL EFFECT

The insulation is made of polyester, an exceptionally stable material. The polyester fibres form a mesh-like structure in which there are a large number of tiny air pockets between the fibres. It is precisely these air pockets that create the thermal effect of the insulation. The air is warmed by excess body heat, and the polyester fibres hold on to the warm air molecules.

A great advantage of using polyester is that the insulation is very stable both in use and in the wash, as the air pockets re-form by themselves after being crushed.

 

CLIMASCOT® takes up very little space when compressed, which means you can easily fold a thermal vest or jacket on the go and stow it in your bag. In addition, thanks to its low weight and density, the insulation will not restrict your movement during the working day.

 

 

35 % RECYCLED POLYESTER

CLIMASCOT® uses recycled polyester in order to protect our environment and reuse as many resources as possible. CLIMASCOT® insulation is therefore made from 35 % recycled polyester.

 

LAYER UP WITH CLIMASCOT® INSULATION

MASCOT recommends choosing layers when putting together your clothing for the working day. For the base layer, choose a product that wicks moisture away, then a warm, insulating and breathable layer, and then an outer layer that will protect you from the weather.
