# Presentation of medical masks at a press conference

On Thursday, 3 September, together with the company Koželj d.o.o., we presented ourselves **at a press conference at the Domžale Chamber of Crafts.** We presented our own product, [the Type II medical face mask](https://www.utg-vodnik.si/zascita-glave/zascita-dihal/zascita-dihal/medicinska-obrazna-maska-50kos). UTG Vodnik is currently the only certified manufacturer of medical face masks with its entire production in Slovenia, specifically in the Komenda Industrial Zone.

Our managing director **Katarina Vodnik** presented our new product at the press conference. It falls under head protection and has become part of our everyday life – protective medical masks.

Ms Vodnik pointed out that our company can produce **up to 100,000 masks per day.** We have obtained a **certificate** for them that fully meets the demanding standards, so this is not merely a hygiene mask but a medical protective mask, which is an important difference. Our masks have **excellent air permeability**, which makes breathing easier, while their bacterial filtration **exceeds 99%.**

**Our masks have no odour and do not irritate the skin**. Because we produce them in the Komenda Industrial Zone, logistics is also less demanding, and staged orders or deliveries are possible for companies.

Our own production is an advantage, as we do not depend on fluctuations in air freight prices or import duties from Asia. This also allows us to adapt fully to the wishes and requirements of the customer, including packaging, and, most importantly, we can monitor the quality of the product throughout the entire production process.

Proof of our outstanding quality is that our customers include **Izola General Hospital** as well as other major clients: **OMV, Arriva Slovenija, McDonalds (Alpe-Panon d.o.o.)**, and numerous other companies.

Together with the pharmaceutical **company Koželj d.o.o.,** which entered the market this year with its own production of Kremca disinfectants with a hypoallergenic scent, we will soon also present a joint package offer.
