## Description

The alphaBELT is a durable firefighting and safety belt that can be easily integrated with your IDA. With its many features, the revolutionary alphaBELT makes your everyday work as a first responder easier. Besides protection and positioning, it can be your last way out - quick, safe rescue by self-descending on a rope in an emergency.

**Fast, intuitive and versatile to use**

- alphaBELT Pro with rope and carabiner provides a certified option for descending on a rope with an IDA

- the ergonomic rescue seat section keeps the user upright and stops them slipping when they raise their arms

- the alphaBELT rope allows the restraint length to be adjusted between 170 and 45 cm

- flexible use thanks to an easily detachable rope that can also be used separately, as an anchor point or a rescue loop

- in a smoky environment, the rope can be used as a reliable link with your colleague

- the front loop serves as an attachment point for a clip on the equipment bag

- approved accessories can be attached to the belt

**Exceptional level of safety and comfort**

- reliable and safe positioning with the rope between two D-rings and an anchor structure

- high-contrast and reflective components for high visibility and quick access in low light, and easy, reliable checks during inspection

- the rope can be stowed in a protective pouch at the back, eliminating the risk of snagging on something

- the Tri-Lock carabiner type and a three-point safety closure prevent unintentional unclipping

- the belt fabric is permanently heat-resistant, non-flammable and self-extinguishing

- quick-release connecting buckles for integration with a self-contained breathing apparatus

The belt is certified in accordance with EN 358.

**alphaBELT Basic – protection**

alphaBELT Basic was developed for lower-risk work environments. It is available with approved, almost identical certificates, but without the safe rescue seat function for self-descent on a rope and with a slightly reduced set of comfort features. The alphaBELT strap is optional and not included.

**alphaBELT Pro – protection and rescue**

The comfortable alphaBelt Pro is the optimal combination. Compared with alphaBELT Basic, it includes:

- a versatile alphaBELT strap

- a safe rescue seat function

- quick-fastening buckles for a self-contained breathing apparatus (separation function)

- an elastic attachment point for the ends of the overhanging belts

You can see more demonstrations of how to use it in **this** video presentation.
