Petzl Spatha Knife

PETZL SPATHA KNIFE

Features:

• Designed for carrying on solid gear: The large ring allows attachment to a strap or in two key ways – directly to a carabiner or using the Petzl CARITOOL holder.

• Blade with a combined edge: Partially straight, partially serrated stainless steel blade (Sandvik 12C27), which allows cutting ropes and straps while being easy to maintain sharpness.

• Opening even with gloves: Two ways to open – with a cutout on the blade or with a manual round using a textured ring designed specifically for use with protective gloves.

• Blade locking: When the blade is open, it securely locks in position, preventing accidental closure during use.

• Extremely lightweight and compact, ideal for climbers' gear – longer length, lighter weight compared to competitors

• Excellent cutting potential – the combined edge is effective for cutting ropes and straps, while the Sandvik steel maintains sharpness.

• Practical opening with gloves, where the ring allows easy use even in winter conditions.
